Building the "Light Weight"

Mike's Elder Quorum had a Pinewood Derby a couple weeks ago, I had never been to one so I decided to go and take some pics. Mike built a sweet car called the "Light Weight" it was 3 times the weight limit (there were no rules). It ended up being pretty slow and got beat by almost all the other cars. O' well, it was fun!

29 Weeks--The Countdown Begins

Kara--Our Chess Prodigy?

Every once in a while Kara and I will play chess against each other on a Sunday evening. Kara might tell you differently but I always beat her--except for this last Sunday. We were just getting started and within about 5 moves I was in check mate--I am beginning to think Kara might be a Chess Hustler/Prodigy. Needless to say I think I am done playing chess against Kara--I hate losing!

Better Late Than Never!

We just barely realized that we never posted our pics of the Wild New Years Party we had with ourselves. Most of our friends were out of town--so we decided to celebrate in true LDS fashion with some kicking sparkling cider. We went out to eat, and came home spent a nice night together--Kara actually fell asleep at 11pm and I had to wake her up to bring in the New Years. We are definitely party animals!

Exponentially Growing (6.75 months)

Our little Stewart continues to grow and we are getting excited for his arrival in a few months. Kara has been feeling great and is excited to be done with PA school in 5 short weeks. As the arrival of our first baby approaches we are not sure whether to take a pregnancy class or what books would be helpful to read--I am sure there are many suggestions that all of you have and we would appreciate any advice.
