Saturday Mornings

For the past 2 months, Saturday mornings, Mike and I have ridden our bikes somewhere to eat breakfast. We usually go to Panera, but last Saturday we rode to Kerrytown and had breakfast at Zingerman's. Here are a few pictures from the trip.

4 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!

Ok so this is a little late, but I want to do one of those books and I want this to be in here. Anyways, it was our 4 year anniversary May 15! I can't believe we have been married for four years! Being married is great becuase to me, I have the best husband in the world! Mike is so good to me, I love him so much and I am so thankful for him. We had a great night. We went to this cute little resturant in Chelsea, MI called The Common Grill. It is really good and it has the best bread I have ever tasted! Then we spent the rest of the night hanging out with each other, this was a nice treat since it was a school night and most school nights we are both studying. Our whole married life we have been in school, I am done in 1 year so hopefully on our 5th anniversary we will have added to the family or be close to doing so!

FINALLY!! after 6 years

I left Kara this past week and represented the Barber fam in Utah at our friend's-Dave and Kim's wedding. It was a lot of fun to see all of our friends--and most of all it was great to see them finally "tie the knot"

Funny Story!

This past week I was doing rounds with my supervising physician. This nurse came up to me and said, "you have an identical twin." This was not just any nurse though, this nurse is a CROSS DRESSER! It is so weird she, "he" is about 6'5" wears make up, paints his nails, wears hoop earings, hair is cut in a bob, ect... I was shocked the first time I saw her. Anyways, this nurse told me should would bring in a photo, but then she said that she probably shouldn't becuase of the nature of what they do, meaning my identical twin is a cross dresser too! Anyways, I don't tell the story very good, but it was so funny at the moment. As soon as the nurse walked away, I started cracking up, and so did all the other people on my team, I was laughing so hard I was crying, it was very difficult to get control.

30 Hour Road Trip: Stop 1 Louisville

Our fisrt stop on our way to Myrtle Beach was in Louisville Kentucky. We visited our good friend Trey. He took us to a great barbeque pit called Mark's Feed Store. Then we went to see all the sights in Louisville that could be fit into one night. This is a great city, it is so green and beautiful, if we did not want to live so close to family I think I would consider living here!

Stop 2: Myrtle Beach

What a great vacation! Mike and I had so much fun in Myrtle Beach. Most of our time was spent laying by the pool and playing on the beach. It was nice to be in warm weather. We did venture out in the city to shop, eat, get ice cream, and play mini golf. One night we ate at a resturant by a swampy area and an alligator swam past us. It was so cool to see one so close in its natural enviornment and not behind glass at the zoo.
