30 Hour Road Trip: Stop 1 Louisville

Our fisrt stop on our way to Myrtle Beach was in Louisville Kentucky. We visited our good friend Trey. He took us to a great barbeque pit called Mark's Feed Store. Then we went to see all the sights in Louisville that could be fit into one night. This is a great city, it is so green and beautiful, if we did not want to live so close to family I think I would consider living here!

Stop 2: Myrtle Beach

What a great vacation! Mike and I had so much fun in Myrtle Beach. Most of our time was spent laying by the pool and playing on the beach. It was nice to be in warm weather. We did venture out in the city to shop, eat, get ice cream, and play mini golf. One night we ate at a resturant by a swampy area and an alligator swam past us. It was so cool to see one so close in its natural enviornment and not behind glass at the zoo.

Stop 3: Cincinatti

Our final stop was Cincinatti. What a great city. We stayed with Mike's friend from high school. He had not scene him for 12 years! We ate at this great place called Montgomery Inn. The ice cream was my favorite part. Oprah likes their ice cream so much she has it shipped to her house. If you ever go to this place get the raspberry chip, it is AWESOME!

Happy Birthday to ME!

Today was a great day! Not only was it 70 degrees with sunshine, but it was my birthday! I turned 25 today. Thank you everyone for making it such a great day. To all my friends at school thank you for remembering me, you are all so sweet and I am going to miss not seeing you everyday, I loved all your cards and yummie treats. Ben and Telia thank you for making me a cake, you are such great friends. Devin, Lynette, Scott, Mandy thank you so much for dinner last night, I loved haning out with you all, (thanks for the scarf Mandy, I love it, I wore it today!) Dad, Mom and Joni you are the best, thank you for the great care package. My family sent me the huge poster in the picture above, it had a ton of funny sayings on it, they also sent me this giant birthday card I am holding in the last picture, it sings "Celebrate good times come on!" The tiara was also sent to me from my family to make me feel like a princess on my special day, haha. Mike, you are the best hubby ever. Mike has a final tomorrow and he still took time to make my day great. We just got back from dinner and he suprised me with tickets to see Wicked in July! I am so excited. Thank you to all my other friends and family who called, sent, emails, and texts, it was so nice of you all to remember me, I am so lucky to have such great people in my life!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

Happy Birthday Mom! I just want to give a shout out to the best mom in the whole world. I love you so much. I am so thankful that I was sent to you. Mike and I wish we could be there for your birthday, hopefully we can make it next year. I know you are thinking you don't want to get one year older, but just think , the older you are, the closer you are to becoming a grandma (no I am not pregnant, but the older I get the closer I get to becoming pregnant). Have a wonderful day! For all of you who don't know, the first pic is of my mom when she was in college, the second picture is from my parents 50th birthday party last year. Both my parents turned fifty and they did a fifties theme birthday party.

Dad we love you! Last weekend my Dad came in town for a visit! We had so much fun. We went out to eat, showed him around Ann Arbor, took him to the Henry Ford Museum, ect...The only complaint was that he left to soon. Dad you are great and we enjoyed every minute you were here, come again soon!
Aren't we cute! We should become a girl band! This is a pic of some of my friends from PA school. We went out to dinner and then played rock band afterward.
